This building dates from the beginning of the XXth century, at one time when all this area was particularly rich. The activities of the cinema-theatre ceased in 1986 and the frontages are classified since 1992 (it would not be believed!)
In 1996, one wrote that this place "should find a cultural function soon". The photographs were taken in 2004...
