Tripoli (not to confuse with the Lybian city) is a friendly city. There are two part in the city : the medieval town and the new town El Mina.

This castle is called Citadel of Saint Gilles because built by Raymond de Saint-Gilles, a crusader.

From Tripoli, you can go to Bcharré and then to visit the Cedars Valley. You can also cross the Qadisha Valley.
